Iran to hold Days of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic

Interaction in the field of tourism between Kyrgyzstan and Iran was discussed by President of the Tourism Development Support Fund Abylkasymin Sherniyazov and head of the cultural mission to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kyrgyzstan Abuzar Togan.

Bilateral cooperation between the Fund and cultural organizations of the Republic of Iran working in the Kyrgyz Republic was at the top of the agenda. In particular, the holding of Days of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic in Iran. The representatives of Iran supported this initiative of the Fund, in turn offering also to organize days of Iran in Kyrgyzstan.

The meeting also discussed the abolition of visas or the introduction of a simplified system of stay for citizens of the two countries in each other’s territory. The representatives of Iran offered to initiate discussions at the level of their Government. It was decided to send to the authorities of the two countries official requests for the mutual abolition of visas.

Also talked about the exchange of experience in the tourism sector and internships of representatives of the tourism sector of the two countries.
