Jazz, pilaf and giants - how did you remember the tourism exhibition in Berlin?

The tourism exhibition in Berlin ended with a grand evening show, which was attended by more than 300 people. As a result, 16 domestic travel companies and four destinations have found new customers and even, have concluded new contracts. Recall that the exhibition in Berlin came about 160 thousand visitors - potential tourists from Germany and other countries.

Representatives of the Tourism Fund told the guests about the rich tourist opportunities of the republic, gave the opportunity to the attendees to plunge into the atmosphere of Kyrgyz culture: they were treated to pilaf, entertained with national dances, held a photo session with Kyrgyz batyrs (giants in national clothes). The guests were also welcomed by Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany Omurbek Tekebayev and President of the Tourism Foundation Elena Kalashnikova.

She noted that today the Kyrgyz Republic has a new economic paradigm. And the state relies on tourism as a driver of economic growth.

The highlight of the show was heartfelt Kyrgyz songs performed by the famous German jazz singer Maya Fadeeva.

The Tourism Fund thanks GIZ (German Society for International Cooperation) for its support and contribution to the development of the tourism industry in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Note that ITB-Berlin 2023 is considered one of the largest annual tourist exhibitions in the world. In addition to carefully designed information stands about countries, destinations, hotels and travel associations, tour operators, hotel reservation systems and transport operators were also represented at the exhibition.
