The initiative group from Issyk-Kul visited the Tourism Development Support Fund

On February 20, the Issyk-Kuls arrived at the Tourism Development Fund. An initiative group of residents of Zheti-Oguz district wrote to President Sadyr Zhaparov an appeal on the creation of a ski cluster in Issyk-Kul region. And they gave a copy of this address to the Tourism Development Support Fund, asking for support.

Atabek Mazymkanov, Baktybek Ismailov and Zhylkyaidar Mamytkanov met with Vice-President of the Foundation Kairat Itibayev. Who noted that an opinion on the given project will be prepared and sent to the higher authorities.

During the meeting and discussions it became evident that the project "Ski Cluster" in Issyk-Kul region requires more careful development and it is necessary to develop it using generally accepted approaches and technologies of development of investment projects.

Kairat Itibayev noted that in the development of projects, the Tourism Fund takes into account such important components as the concept of marketing and market potential; the implementation plan in the form of an operating model; the financial model with calculations of coefficients of economic and investment attractiveness. All these components are consistently developed by specialists from 3 to 6 months.

In addition, it is supposed to visualize the draft projects, which will be used in the process of agreement with authorized state bodies and in work with potential investors.
