Today in the Naryn region held the Second Tourism Forum. The President of the Fund Elena Kalashnikova called on the participants to actively join new tourist projects and to offer their ideas for the development of tourist sites of the Naryn region.
Participation of entrepreneurs of the tourism sector and officials of the Naryn region in the projects of the Fund will give a new impetus to cooperation, Kalashnikova said. According to her, work is already underway on several general projects. It is also the creation of a register of attractions of the region, and the construction of various tour facilities: glamping, tourist recreation points RestPoint, and ecotrope development. In addition, Naryn has joint projects with tourist destination Karakol, which the Fund supports.
Following the forum, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Fund and the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Naryn region. It involves working together to increase the flow of tourists to the region, financing tourist facilities and attracting investment in the tourism sector, conducting PR campaigns among local residents to popularize the tourism business, creating new jobs.
The memorandum of cooperation was also signed with the Naryn Travel Association. Among other things, it involves working together on educational activities for local guides.
