Italian sponsors looking for a sister city in the Kyrgyz Republic

A large business delegation from Italy met at the Tourism Development Support Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic. Guests were interested not only in investment projects, but also the culture and history of the Kyrgyz people.

It should be noted that the Italian delegation, including Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Italy Taalaybek Bazarbayev, Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic Antonio Castiello, as well as investors, engineers, designers, lawyers and even the mayor of a small Italian city, invited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Italians said that they want to conclude an agreement on sister cities with one of the cities from the Kyrgyz Republic. Such a treaty, if signed and approved by governments, would help Italian investors to allocate more money to the development of Kyrgyz cities. Italians have also shown interest in the construction of the airport in our country and the ski complex Baytik Mountain Resort (ski resort near Bishkek). The Italians are also interested in the supply of technology and food to our country.
