Minister of Tourism of Bulgaria visited the Fund of Tourism as part of the Central Asian tour

The Fund of Tourism was visited by the Minister of Tourism of Bulgaria Ilin Dimitrov. He came to the Kyrgyz Republic as part of the Central Asian tour. The Minister spoke about the experience of promoting the tourist potential of Bulgaria. Each year, 20 million dollars are invested in marketing. Of these, six million are spent on international tourism exhibitions. Bulgaria participates in 62 of them.

President of the Foundation Elena Kalashnikova and Vice-President Kairat Itibayev told Ilin Dimitrov about the experience of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as about the activities of the Fund of Tourism and the major projects that he is implementing. They discussed the possibility of cooperation. In particular, it was about sending to Bulgaria students studying tourism in the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the visit, Dimitrov also met with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov. At that meeting, the Kyrgyz side proposed to resume the work of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Bulgarian Commission.
