The Kyrgyz delegation made a presentation at the "Turkic World Trade Platform" held in Istanbul. The event was attended by about 145 Turkish entrepreneurs.
Representatives of the Tourism Development Support Fund in the Kyrgyz Republic and representatives of FEZ Bishkek came to Istanbul from Kyrgyzstan. The Fund was informed that the meeting with Turkish businessmen was held largely due to the participation of the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Istanbul.
Consul General Lyra Sydykov told the forum participants about the investment potential of Kyrgyzstan and the conditions of doing business in our country, drew the attention of Turkish businessmen to the low taxes in the country, informed about the promising sectors of the economy, on the protection of investors' rights in Kyrgyzstan.
After the forum, especially for the Tourism Fund, diplomats organized a working breakfast with businessmen.
"About two hours after the investment forum we worked with Turkish businessmen. We talked about the tasks of the Foundation, talked about our projects in which we can invest. This is Baytik Mountain Resort, RestPoint, glamping and other projects", - said Zholchubek Batyrbekov, First Vice President of the Support Fund for Tourism Development in Kyrgyzstan.
As a result, several Turkish businessmen were interested in the construction of the Baytik Mountain Resort ski base and the opportunities to invest in this project. Later, Zholchubek Batyrbekov met with Turkish media journalists and representatives of travel agencies in Turkey.
Kyrgyz delegation was given a tour of the company Ağaç ve Peyzaj, which makes landscape design all over Istanbul and provides it with seedlings and flowers.
The director of this architectural and landscape company, after negotiations with the Kyrgyz delegation, expressed his desire to visit Bishkek to help with the greening of our capital.
